Introducing the Sidewinder Carbon, this frame is the Gold Standard of tri frames. 6 months of work, 3 months of testing have gone into this bike. Fast, aero, and stable are idea behind this bike. I was so impressed by the performance of this bike that I recently took it to Davenport, IA for the USAT Worlds qualifier and made TEAM USA on it. I will take it to Budapest for the World Championships in September. Below will show all the innovation behind this frameset.
The build, this frame is monocoque carbon, this means no joints, no flex. We spared no expense on the fibre. The core is the stiffest 12K weave available. It is then mixed with a 3K weave in a few strategic places to soften the ride. It is covered with a thin layer of super wide weave carbon that looks great and further reduces vibration. Perfectly placed vertical dropouts for ease of use. Integrated seat mast at 76 degree seatpost angle with 30mm of adjustment once tube is cut. 12K all carbon forks, stiff and very aerodynamic. Huge bottom bracket section, unbelievably stiff. Pointy nose that looks cool and serves no other purpose. 2 sets of frame mount bottle bosses, not used above, I prefer HED Lollypop for short course. Normal Brakes. Not a spec of paint anywhere. Shaped seat and chainstays that will not flex with age and allow all wheel types. The rear wheel in the picture is a new HED C2 rim which will only fit on a few Carbon frames. That's OK with me, its insanely fast and it probably won't fit on your bike. Everything about this bike is simple and fast, less complexity and race day worry!
