We have taken the next step in our engineering process at RMS--Custom Road Bikes. We decided to start with just a minor challenge:  to build a bike for a 7-foot tall athlete who just could not find anything at the bike shop. We wanted it to be reasonably stiff and most of all; it needed to fit. We spent 2 days after measuring with design work that would lead to this end product. This particular bike is about a 67cm machine, built with 105 components to keep the costs in line with our clients budget. It uses some FSA gear and some heavy duty Bontrager Select wheels and a Kestrel EMS PRO fork (because we needed the 320mm uncut steering tube). The finished bike  weighed in at a very respectable 19.6 LBS. We finished it off some Look pedals and a Mavic Wintech computer. Total cost, about $2200. The fit was nearly spot-on, requiring only a few minor saddle adjustments. I challenge you to go anywhere and find a finer Titanium bike than this, with this kind of fit and attention to detail at this price. Isn't it time you stepped up to something created just for you, at a price that rivals most dealers entry level race machines?
