Sparrow Carbon Multisport
This is the Sparrow Carbon Multisports bike. It is built to be a "Jack of all trades". It is manufactured from the finest high modulus carbon fiber with alloy reinforcements in key areas for strength, stiffness and survivability. The seat post has an alloy collar to prevent over tightening. The head tube and bottom bracket is built the same way. It is available in either a road build or traditional tri build or somewhere in between. It uses an extra large all carbon 31.8mm seatpost for strength, available with 20mm setback for road or a zero post for tri as shown above. It uses multi shaped tubes for strength and stiffness, it accepts all 19 and 23mm wheelsets, its just plain simple and fun to ride. Its also light, the frame is 1120 grams for 53cm and the complete bike with an SRAM Apex groupset and a set of look Keo pedals as pictured above is 17.8 lbs. If you cannot talk your spouse into more than one bike for all uses, this is your bike. The geometry allows you to ride this bike for either road or tri, you decide.
The seatpost has a hidden alloy tube in the collar to help prevent over tightening. Shown is the all carbon zero post for tri.
Oversized and shaped tubes and huge alloy reinforced bottom bracket for stiffness, It also comes with an RMS all carbon bottle holder.
Shaped and curved top tube and down tubes add to stiffness and compliance. Hidden alloy caps for steering tubes add to the strength.

Sparrow Pricing: The Sparrow will normally only be sold as a complete bike. If I feel you have the expertise and tools to complete I will entertain requests for framesets and partial builds.
