Warranty Information.
At RMS we atand behind our products. We believe that our framesets are made to last and we stand behind that. We actually have 2 warranties that come with all of our titanium bicycles. They are very simple:
- The frameset is warranted for life to the original owner to be free of defects from
manufacturing. This does not include abuse, crashes, and does not extend to riders who are
over 200 lbs. This does not apply to components, as these are warranted by their respective
manufacturers. It also does not cover any component damage other than the frameset from
any cause. No other warranties are either extended or implied. Decals are not covered.
Any frameset found to be defective will be replaced.
- Your RMS is also covered by a simple crash replacement warranty. We know that race
bicycles are a large investment and really appreciate your business. If you should crash
your bicycle or have it damaged while transporting it we will offer a 40% discount off the
price of a new RMS frameset. This covers only the frameset and no other components.
Frameset damage must not be deliberate. This also does not apply if an outside
individual who was responsible for damages, or their insurance, pays for damages.
